Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili is in Brussels to discuss his country’s European future.
Garibashvili, who left for Belgium last evening, will attend the second meeting of the European Union (EU)-Georgia Association Council today. At the meeting the Georgian side will report on its progress of launching its Association Agreement (AA) landmarks.
The meeting will be followed by joint statements by PM Garibashvili, Vice President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini and Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn.
While in Belgium the Georgian PM will also hold meetings with the first Vice President of the European Commission Frans Timmerman and the President of the European Council Donald Tusk.
