FC Sevilla is arriving in Tbilisi today to prepare for next week's UEFA Super Cup final in Georgia’s capital.
The highly anticipated match will take place on August 11 at the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena.
The other team, Barcelona FC, is scheduled to arrive tomorrow said Georgia’s Football Federation official ( GFF) Dimitri Bokeria.
He said both teams will arrive on charter flights; Barcelona will stay at Tbilisi Marriott Hotel in the city centre.
"Barcelona is understood to have two trainings, one at Dinamo Arena at 9:00pm on August 10 and another at Mikheil Meskhi Stadium on August 11."
"This is a major game and the teams are preparing for the game very seriously; no excursions are on their agenda,” Bokeria said.
All tickets to the August 11 game sold out weeks ago.
The UEFA Super Cup is an annual sporting challenge between the reigning champions of the two main European club competitions – the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League.
The first UEFA Super Cup was officially recognised and held in 1973. Since 1998 the match was traditionally held at the Louis II Stadium in Monaco, however from 2013 it was decided the event would be held in different venues.
In 2013 Prague hosted the game at Eden Stadium and in 2014 the match was played in Cardiff, UK.
