A new enterprise has opened in Georgia that will benefit the country’s construction sector, support the economy and employ the local population.

Today Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili opened a new plastic and concrete slab manufacturing company in Khobi, a town in western Georgia.

About two million GEL was invested to establish the company, which opened within the state program ‘Produce in Georgia’.

About 50 locals were employed to construct the factory, while 30 people will be employed once the enterprise is fully operational.

The factory will produce plastic boxes, glue-cement, building blocks, decorative concrete slabs, decorative concrete gutters, blocks and pavement borders.
