After gaining international recognition, Georgian film Blind Dates (Shemtkhveviti Paemnebi) made its first public appearance in Belgium at the BOZAR Centre of Fine Arts.
Blind Dates (Shemtkhveviti Paemnebi) directed by Levan Koguashvili debuted at the BOZAR Cinema’s 10th anniversary on January 11.
BOZAR Cinema celebrated its 10th anniversary with a four-day film festival, where the Georgian-directed film was shown on the big screen among twelve internationally recognised films.
After the screening of the film, viewers were able to meet with Koguashvili, the film's director.
Blind Dates is Koguashvilis’s second film where he takes a light-hearted, gentle look at relationships and the fear of making commitments.
He tells his tale through main protagonist Sandro, a teacher and confirmed bachelor who spends his time flirting online. He enjoys the simplicity of not committing but things all change when he falls in love with Manana.
The film debuted at the BOZAR Cinema’s four day festival with the support of Georgia’s Embassy in the Kingdom of Belgium.
