Tbilisi is preparing to host a senior member of the Saudi ruling family.
Prince Al-Waleed Bin Talal bin Abdulaziz al Saud is coming to Georgia today at Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili’s invitation.
Georgia’s Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kvirikashvili will meet the Prince at Tbilisi International Airport.
The Prince will then be hosted by Prime Minister Garibashvili, after which joint statements will be made for media this afternoon.
Within the visit the royal guest will also meet Georgia’s President Giorgi Margvelashvili before touring some of the country’s most promising investment sites, the PM’s Administration said.
An official dinner will be held this evening in honour of the Saudi Prince.
Prince Al-Waleed Bin Talal bin Abdulaziz al Saud is a descendant of Ibn Saud, the first monarch and founder of Saudi Arabia.
