A multi-functional unmanned aerial vehicle, an armored medical evacuation vehicle, an armored vehicle for desert conditions, anti-hail systems and 11 other defensive mechanisms were exhibited today at Georgia’s State Military Scientific Centre DELTA.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili visited the scientific centre with Cabinet Ministers today and became personally acquainted with 15 new products produced by DELTA.
PM Irakli Garibashvili talked about the importance of developing the national military industry and stressed the valuable work done by each employee of DELTA.
"The aerial helicopter is unique not only for our country and region, but there only a few like this in the whole world. This is a very important product, which has several functions, [and can assist] the military and intelligence services. In addition, there are machine guns produced in Georgia which were developed by one of the best snipers and many other products which are being built in secret,” he said.

"This offers tremendous capital because it’s a Georgian production. Exceptionally talented people work here, geniuses develop these products and I want to thank them. The Georgian Government will contribute to the development of this field because it is very important for our state,” Garibashvili noted.
The guests also were able to see the manufacturing process of some parts of products that were developed by DELTA. After this the group visited the Anti-Hail Command Centre and familiarised themselves with operations at the site.
Among the visitors of the DELTA visit were Georgia's Minister of Energy Kakhi Kaladze, Minister of Agriculture Otar Danelia, Minister of Corrections and Legal Assistance Giorgi Mgebrishvili and Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia Sozar Subari.
The PM and the Ministers were hosted by DELTA director Ucha Dzodzuashvili and Minister of Defence Tinatin Khidasheli.
