Georgian Embassies around the world are celebrating Georgia’s 97th anniversary of independence.
On May 26 more than a dozen Georgian Embassies in different countries marked the country’s Independence Day by hosting celebrations, official receptions and concerts.
Georgian Embassies in Ireland, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Switzerland, Cyprus, Slovakia, Germany, Canada, Portugal, Turkey, Hungary, Egypt and more recognized Georgia’s Independence Day and hosted politicians, diplomats and invited guests at special ceremonies.
The Georgian Embassies presented aspects of Georgian culture to their host nations, including traditional Georgian wine and cuisine and music performed by national folk groups.
