The Sundance Institute announced which 13 projects had been selected for the 2015 June Directors and Screenwriters Labs last week.
The event, taking place at the Sundance Resort in Utah from May 25 to June 25, runs annually in order to discover and enhance the up-and-coming independent film artists in film, theatre, new media and episodic content.
Each filmmaker will also work with a group of creative advisers, professional actors and production crews.
This year’s selections featured works from six different countries, including Georgia, the United States (US), Brazil, China, France and the UK and varied from documentary, theatre, music, animation, new media and visual art categories.
Meanwhile, another of Khatchvani’s films Dinola triumphed in the international arena after receiving main awards at different film festivals.
The Sundance Institute is an US-based organisation that actively advances the work of filmmakers and storytellers worldwide.
