Thousands of Turkish language books are now on display in Georgia.
A special Turkish corner has opened in the East Hall of the National Georgia Library and is now home to 6,000 Turkish books.
The library was officially opened today and supported by the Turkish Yunus Emre Institute and Ziraat Bank.
The project aimed to work on a mutual basis with the intention of Georgian literature also going on display in libraries throughout Turkey.
Today’s opening of the Turkish corner at the library was attended by the Ambassador of Turkey in Georgia, Head of the Turkish Yunus Emre Institute and Ziraat bank director.
