Georgia’s State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration is on a working trip to Brussels to meet top officials and speak at the European Policy Centre, an independent, not-for-profit think tank dedicated to fostering European integration.

While abroad, Minister Alexi Petriashvili will hold meeting with European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs chairman Elmar Brok, managing director for Europe and Central Asia in the European External Action Service Luis Felipe Fernández de la Peña and European Commissioner for Regional Policy Johannes Hahn.

In addition, the Georgian official will deliver a speech at the European Policy Centre on the topic ‘Georgia – 2008 and Ukraine 2014: The results of European and Euro-Atlantic choice’.

The European Policy Centre website stated the independent organisation was dedicated to fostering European integration through analysis and debate, supporting and challenging European decision-makers to make informed decisions based on evidence and analysis, and providing a platform for engaging partners, stakeholders and citizens in EU policy-making and in the debate about the future of Europe.
