US Assistant Secretary calls on OSCE to help Georgia

US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland calls on the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) to double its efforts in order to help Georgia, Moldova, and Mountainous Karabagh.

Nuland made this statement at the OSCE Ministerial in Kiev, Ukraine. She noted that the situation in Georgia has been complicated lately because of fencing activities in breakaway South Ossetia.

"Our double effort is needed to help Georgian and Moldavian people and to pay attention to Mountainous Karabagh, the Assistant Secretary said.

From Kiev, Victoria Nuland will visit Georgia to meet with Georgian government officials and opposition leaders on December 6.
