Georgia is famous for its pre-election poll wars. Two days before the presidential elections, three different organizations conducted surveys on the topic: For whom will Georgian citizens vote if the elections were tomorrow?

The overall trend is that GD (Georgian Dream) Candidate Giorgi Margvelashvili is winning with a significant majority. However, some polls show that it is uncertain whether the second round will occur or not.

The first poll was ordered by the GD and conducted by the study-consultation center Psychoproject. According to the results, Giorgi Margvelashvili is leading by 57.6%, UNM (United National Movement) candidate David Bakradze holds second place with 11.8% and Democratic Movement leader Nino Burjanadze has a rating of 7.1%. 10.3% refused to answer the question.

Another poll was done by American company Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research and ordered by UNM. The results of this survey indicates a high probability of a second round, with Giorgi Margvelashvili having only 43% support, David Bakradze 23% and Nino Burjanadze 6%. 18% were still undecided or refused to answer the question.

The third survey was ordered by supporters of Nino Burjanadze and predicts a slightly different outcome. According to the poll conducted by independent sociologists, Giorgi Margvelashvili is leading with 37.6% followed by Nino Burjanadze 32.3% and David Bakradze 10.77%. In this case, 13.8% did not answer the question.
